Surprise Surprise... no really it was a surprise.

To my elder and younger,

So tonight I had a wonderful dinner out planned with my fiance and our 2 best friends (M+A). We were meeting up with them at 7:30 for dinner at this nice steak house right downtown by Union Station. We met up with them at Union Station and walked to the restaurant.

We were led to our table and as we approached it I realized that our table already had people sitting at it! My best friend had planned a surprise engagement dinner to celebrate my recent (~2 month long so far) engagement.

It was such a surprise! Neither of us had expected it to have been a surprise dinner.

We had a wonderful evening with friends, however we also had a horrible waiter who took forever to take our orders, took one order wrong, did not refill our water glasses, and at the end of the dinner including desert he brought out a massive 5"x5" brownie a la mode. Which was incredibly poorly planned, as we had both already ordered and eaten our desert.

All in all the evening was SOOOOO much fun! and a huge surprise!
